"I consider that there are few bad bikes, and some great bikes. This is the first time I rode a CBR1100XX Super Blackbird and consider it a great bike. It was a comfortable ride for the week i had it for my UK trip and easily handled motorways, twisty roads, and the stop-and-go of city traffic. I chose the Blackbird as I wanted something different to a Honda VFR800.

I intend to rent a bike from Wayne the next time I am in the UK as he picked me up and dropped me off as planned, also the bike performed without any problems but he provided an AA breakdown service card to be used if I had issues with the Blackbird."

"I was really surprised with the level of equipment on the bike. The side panniers had loads of room and the convenience of being able to leave them at the hotel for the weekend was very handy. The VFR was a very capable machine and well suited to the Yorkshire Dales. The throaty sound and pull of the torque as you accelerate out of the sweeping bends was very addictive and kept a smile on my face all weekend. We were very lucky with the weather for October - mostly dry roads and the even the odd bit of sunshine ... the only downside being that I didn't get to try out the heated grips.

We are already planning a spring ride to France and for the price, convenience and level of equipment of your bikes I wouldn't think twice about hiring again."

"We have hired bikes from Wayne since July 2008; we have nothing but praise for him and his company. We have ridden around France on the VFR and locally within the UK over long weekends on the VFR and Blackbird. The bikes are in top condition and we have never had any problems. We now plan to hire a bike from New Horizon for our next trip around Ireland. We wouldn't ever consider going anywhere else. Panniers, tank bag, Bluetooth, clothing etc are all available and make hiring bikes from NH the only option."
